This recipe is a family fave! We got this recipe off a bag of flour (25 lbs. I might add) and boy did it deliver! This recipe will make you feel like you're in a whirlwind of deliciousness!
Scott's Soccer Practice Bars
1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Sugar
1 Egg
1/3 C. Peanut Butter
1/2 t. Baking Soda
1/2 t. Salt
1 C. Flour
1 C. Old Fashioned Oatmeal
1 C. Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Icing - combine and set aside
1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
2 T. Peanut Butter
2 T. Milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and peanut butter and mix well. Stir in soda, salt, flour and oatmeal. Press into a 9" x 13" baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and drizzle with icing.
Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
Makes 24 squares.

I had found this recipe on bag of Shurfine sugar that I bought at a store not on my usual route. We all loved it butterscotch, peanut, chocolate and oatmeal flavors altogether! Always a hit to take somewhere too. Anyway, I threw away the empty bag without writing down the recipe and had to make special trip to the store to get another Shurfine sugar with the recipe on it. Try it, you'll like it.
Thanks for posting this. We found it on a flour bag and loved them. Then we forgot to write it down before throwing away the bag! I like that this recipe does not need condensed milk.
